4pm Oct 1st. I head to the North LLP stand and get setup. at 5pm I see my first deer, but could make it out in the brush. At 515)9I a small forkhorn work a scrape then I see about 20 turkeys at 530pm I see a larger 8 pointer work a scrape as well. What I have found is a primary scrape and will need to capitalize on it.
The hunt resulted in my missing one doe at 30 yards.

Suburban Bowhunting Sept 18th 2010
I tried to hunt this morning... but the weather did not cooperate. so I am in a stand this afternoon tried out my new angle on the muddy sticks by strapping each stick to a stick be fore it and using a short length of rope tied to the first stick I was able to climb th e tree quietly without coming down for each stick.
I however think that the snap buckles are wrong for this application and I going to try velcro instead so the sticks are snug and so ther is no buckle to get caught.
I also have some muddy treestand parts for my new mega step for using my ambush sling.
stay tuned...
545pm just watched 3 does looks like its fixing to rain hard might be time to get down... I will wait it out for afew more minutes...

2010 Suburban Bowhunting Adventures 09-11-2010
1ST Day os season is dinally HERE as the alrm goes off at 430am I get up with eager anticipation of the morning to come. I hope to connect sometime today with a doe. I a completely out of venison and it is a major part of our diet.
As I leave house I grab my bow which is in a pole mountain bowshield and my pack. Just out of curiosity I put my pack on the scale 40lbs. Geesh, but between video and essential gear it is what it is.
Well this morning I am hunting my standby that has produced the 1st day of season every year. LLSWP stand. It is the same stand I took two does opening day last year out of.
Getting into the stand was uneventful. I don't thinl I spooked any deer walking in. I hope to at least see some deer.
724am no deer, ample gray squirrels and I can hear turkes down in the brush we will see what happens next...
